Meet cookie cutie

Meet Cookie đŸȘ — the wiggly, giggly, all-black sweetheart with a heart of gold and the softest smooshy face you’ll ever meet!

Cookie is about a year and a half old, and we think she’s a pittie–lab mix, which basically means she’s equal parts silly clown, loyal best friend, and expert snuggler. From the second she hops out of her kennel, this girl is ready for fun! She’s always up for an adventure — tail wagging, tongue lolling, eyes full of sparkle — and she’s never met a human she didn’t instantly adore.

She’s the definition of a people-lover. When Cookie meets someone new, she does a happy little dance that involves full-body wiggles, helicopter tail spins, and the occasional “boop” to your hand, asking for pets. She is always so thrilled to be getting love that she can hardly hold still — her whole body is like a wiggly noodle of happiness.

And when it came time to meet a kiddo? Cookie absolutely nailed it! She instantly toned it down, stayed calm and gentle, and didn’t even try to jump. It’s like she just knew this tiny human needed extra softness. She took pets so sweetly and wagged her tail like she was saying, “You’re my new best friend!” She’d be such a sweet family dog — the kind who’s always there for backyard zoomies, couch snuggles, and endless love.

Cookie is an absolute dog lover through and through. She truly adores other dogs and lights up when she gets the chance to be around them. Cookie is naturally submissive and polite, offering gentle submissive licks and sweet body language that makes other dogs feel comfortable right away. She loves to play and is happy to jump into fun when another dog is feeling it, but she’s also incredibly dog savvy — if a dog isn’t in the mood, she’ll calmly sniff around, give them space, and take breaks on her own. She reads dog body language beautifully and adjusts her energy to match, which makes her a wonderful playmate and companion. Cookie would love having doggy siblings in her forever home, but she’d also do just fine as an only dog. She is a bit of a foodie, so she should be fed separately from other dogs just to be safe, but overall she is an exceptionally good girl with outstanding dog manners.

She’s not a fan of cats — they’re just too tempting for her curious nature — but she’d absolutely thrive in a home full of people who love her as much as she’ll love them. Cookie’s perfect day? A fun walk, a playdate, a cozy nap, and lots of belly rubs in between.

On her doggy day out, Cookie proved just how easy and enjoyable she is to take along for adventures. She rode beautifully in the car, staying calm and well-behaved the entire time. At the park, she did great on leash — she didn’t pull much and wasn’t bothered by birds, squirrels, or kids. Cookie was perfectly content to stroll along at her own happy pace, exploring the little garden and taking in all the good sniffs. She was relaxed, curious, and so well-mannered throughout the outing. Overall, she showed that she’s a really good girl who would make a wonderful companion for walks, errands, and days out and about with her people.

With her shiny black coat, big goofy grin, and wiggly “I love you!” energy, Cookie is pure happiness wrapped in fur. She’s the kind of dog who greets every day like it’s her birthday and every person like her long-lost best friend.

If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, endlessly loving sidekick who will make every single day brighter — Cookie’s your girl. đŸȘ💖
