Meet Braeburn Apple-The Sweetest Adoptable Gentleman You’ll Ever Meet!

This adorable boy is pure sunshine wrapped in a 31-pound package! With his bright eyes, perky stand-up ears that twitch at every little sound, and the sweetest “please love me” expression, Braeburn is an absolute heart-melter.

Braeburn is a Catahoula mix on the smaller, compact side — the perfect size for being your spoiled couch buddy. His estimated birthday is June 1, 2025. He’s gentle, affectionate, and loves nothing more than rolling around playing with his toys, doing zoomies in the backyard (fenced), and soaking up all the attention.

Braeburn is happiest rolling around with his friends and exploring the world at his own pace. His calm nature and sweet expression make him a very easy addition. He loves treats so make sure you have them on hand! He enjoys going on walks and showing off his good leash manners. Hikes would be super fun for him! He enjoys riding around town and running errands, so if you need a buddy to ride shotgun, he’s your guy. He loves to snuggle up on the couch or on a nice soft bed with all his toys. Make sure you’ve got a basket of toys waiting for him, because he loves a good plush toy! Maybe even a trip to the pet store so he can pick out his own toy. He is a very smart boy and will make for a fun family boy to work with and train together. He really loves to make friends!

This smart, happy boy is currently living in a foster home with young kids, dogs, and a cat, where he’s thriving and showing off what a star he is. He’s the ideal family companion — loyal, playful when you want to play, and perfectly content cuddling on the couch when it’s time to relax.

Braeburn is looking for his forever home with a fully fenced backyard so he can safely explore, and bask in the sun and entertain himself running zoomies. If you’re ready for a sweet, affectionate boy who will greet you with a wagging tail, and become your best little buddy. Braeburn Apple is waiting for you! This cutie is the one who will steal your heart. Applications and inquiries welcome — he’s ready to start his happily-ever-after!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
