Meet lovely london queen of naps and belly-rubs

If you are looking forward to a dog but not those “teen” years from puppy to adulthood, London here is perfect and will let you fast-forward right to the easy years. The relaxed, low- energy, snuggle-able and lovable years. Let’s call her Lovely London because that is exactly what she is! Take a look at her adoption video here then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/FnA7l4sYfVU

London is a rescue so age and breed are details we cannot guarantee but we estimate she is between a 4–5 years old , likely a pittie mix, and she currently weighs 63 lbs with a few more to gain. She has an adorable blocky head with a fluffy set of ears that made me practically giddy. London is so fortunate and is waiting for her forever family with an adoring foster where she has been soaking up belly rubs and perfecting her favorite pastime- napping!

This girl is the definition of easy. She’s house and crate trained, rides politely in the car- she just needs a little boost every now and then, and walks beautifully on leash. London is calm and friendly with people of all ages, including kids, and she gets along well with other dogs, especially those that match her relaxed, lower-energy vibe.

At home, she’s a quiet companion who loves to lounge nearby, but she’s equally fine hanging out on her own while you’re at work. She’s not needy, but when you’re ready for cuddles, she is ready too. Her foster says she’s “so easy, sweet, and lovable”- a true dream dog.
London would thrive in a home where she can enjoy the simple things: leisurely walks, backyard sunning sessions, car rides, belly rubs, and long cozy naps. Her lower energy and quiet nature make her a great candidate for apartment life as long as she fit breed/size restrictions. Although she has great mobility, as she ages stairs may become difficult so a first floor apartment or elevator access is preferred. She’s beautiful inside and out, and she’s ready to share her calm, easy-going, adoring presence with her forever people.

Sometimes the sweetest dogs lead to the simplest joys and London here is to prove that.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
