Meet winston waldo wiggly dude

If you are into long legs and underbites, this might just be your dream. It is a pleasure to introduce Winston Wiggle-Whirl. A tall drink of water. Joy on four paws. Tail-spinning, sparkling-eyes kind of dog.

About 1 year old and 54 lbs, this lab-mix heartthrob is athletic, social, and eager to be someone’s favorite part of the day and forever adventure buddy. (Rescue rules apply, so breed and birthday are our best guess.)

Want to see that helicopter tail and those famous tippy taps in action? Head to YouTube for “Winston | Wiggle-Whirl Adventure Buddy” and then come right back to read more.

Winston has a beautiful balance that carries into his real-world outings. Winston recently took part in a large Mardi Gras parade and handled it beautifully. He walked politely, greeted people and kids, again and again, with friendly warmth, and was unbothered by the noise and movement around him. Afterward, he relaxed at a beachside patio, rotating between napping and accepting the occasional french fry or bite of chicken. In the car, he enjoys a little open-window breeze before settling in for a nap in the back seat. He has also done well on everyday adventures like parks and pet stores, showing curiosity, friendliness with strangers, and an easy ability to keep moving when needed.

At home, Winstons foster describes him as a dream boy. He is both house and crate trained with solid house manners. He does well with free range of the home, and he settles nicely in his crate whenever its needed. He did wonderfully with the resident dogs in his foster home and loves sprinting across their half-acre backyard. A fenced yard is important for him. He genuinely enjoys stretching those long legs and getting his zoomies out.

Winston is a playgroup standout at doggie day care. He reads other dogs well and enjoys a balanced, medium-energy play style. He likes to romp and can play a little rough in that happy, young-dog way, but it is not over the top. He is not a non-stop chaos coordinator. He engages, has fun, and then resets. His ideal match would be a dog friend who enjoys playtime but also knows how to settle.

After he has had his run or play session, Winston is affectionate and happy to lean into you for attention. He does well with baths, tolerates nail trims with a few typical wiggles, and continues to enjoy doggy daycare in mixed playgroups. He would likely thrive with older children who understand that an excited, happy dog sometimes comes with spinning tails and full-body wiggles. A cat-free home would be best, as cats are simply a little too interesting for him.

Winston Wiggle-Whirl is friendly, athletic, and affectionate in all the right proportions. He is looking for an active family who wants a dog to share adventures with and then relax beside you when the day winds down.

If you are ready for long legs and a tail that sounds like applause in the car, Winston is ready to come home.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
