I acquired Striker from a breeder when he was about 8 weeks old. He is 5 years old, born on 11/11/2020. I am looking to rehome him because we recently had a baby and no longer have the time he deserves to play, exercise, and receive daily attention. I am seeking a sweet, loving home with owners who have the time and experience to care for him properly.
Striker is a loyal and loving dog who grew up during the COVID period and did not receive early socialization. As a result, he can be protective and cautious when first meeting new adults, children, or dogs and may bark initially. With slow and consistent introductions, he has successfully socialized with other dogs over time. He can be protective of his food, so an experienced owner who understands boundaries is important. He is up to date on vaccinations, though he may need a booster.
He has fear-based aggression, anxiety, resource guarding, and separation anxiety.
