Meet sake
Sake is a special needs dog. She has Megasophogus. This is a condition in which her esophagus is enlarged making it hard for her to swallow. Typically dogs with this condition need ina Bailey chair upright. However we are lucky in that Sake can eat wet food in a raised feeder and she can drink water off the floor. We do have a Bailey chair (seen in her photos) that we will donate to her adopter, however Sake has only used it a few times. She has very manageable and mild symptoms and she rarely regurgitates. However it is something that her owners will need to be aware of and regulate, because improper feeding could leave to aspiration which could be deadly. But she is a happy and healthy puppy otherwise. She is very active and playful and loves other dogs.
We are unsure her breed, but she is a terrier mix. She is spayed, microchiped and vaccinated. She was born 12/2024.
