Hello Hooman!

My name is Ringo, and I am an 8 month old, female, French Bulldog mix looking for her forever home and hooman. I might as well warn you up front; if you get me, you get endless tail wags, a serious addiction to tug of war, and finally, ZOOMIES! No couch potato here. But if you want a best friend for life, keep on reading.

As you can see from my photograph, I am solid white in color and will weigh a maximum of 60 lbs when I’m full grown. I was adopted out previously when I was 3 months old to a very nice family, but one of the members of the family found they were allergic to me, so they had to bring me back. Everyone here thought it would be important to say that it wasn’t because I had done anything wrong. It was just one of those curveballs that life throws to us.

I love everyone as soon as I meet them and want to change them from strangers into friends. I also love chew toys and I am a massive tug of war addict. I could play that game all day. At the home I used to live in, there were children that I could play with and I enjoyed that very much. However, because I have so much energy, it’s best if I’m not playing with children who are too small. I wouldn’t hurt them for the world, but sometimes I might accidentally knock them over not even meaning to.
They’ve been working with me here at Golden Paws to sit on command. I’m doing better at it, but I will still need you to help train me on that and other commands. Luckily, I am young enough and willing enough (and smart enough! Ahem!) for you to be able to teach me these things. I enjoy being with other dogs, but I get a little excited around cats. I’m not sure that I really understand cats completely, and I’ve never tried to hurt one at any time, but if one ran away from me, I would probably think it was just a chase game to play and I might run after them. As you can guess from my story, I would do best with a fenced in yard, if possible.

My bags are packed, my tail is wagging I’m ready to begin the next chapter in my life in a new forever home with a new forever hooman. I have had all my shots, I’ve been spayed, and I’m ready to go. Fill out an application and come on down to Joplin to meet me. You could be the final part in a "and they lived happily ever after” story. I hope to see you soon!
