Hi there!
I’m River and I’m about a year old, and while my journey wasn’t always easy, I know I have a happy long life ahead of me.
You see, I was found by a wonderful lady who rescued me. I heard her tell the nice rescue people that I was emaciated when she found me and limping due to some old injuries. My hips took quite a hit, but the good news is that my vet says I’m doing great! I might walk and sit a little differently, but I use both my legs to balance quite well, and there’s no pain holding me back.
I’m currently living with a bunch of other dogs, and let me tell you, life is a blast! My favorite activity? Rummaging through the toy box to find my beloved toys. I love tossing them up in the air and chasing after them-I can totally amuse myself.
As much as I enjoy playtime, I’m also a total cuddle bug. My personality is as sweet as they come.
