Hi! My name is Katniss!
I’m a 4-month-old puppy with a big heart, a wiggly body, and a story that starts a little differently than most. When I was just a newborn, I was rescued from a burning vehicle. Because of that, I have some burn scars and physical differences on my face and body. They’re part of me, but they don’t define me.
What does define me is how much I love life.
I’m sweet, playful, and full of energy. I love exploring, cuddling, and being around people who talk to me like I’m their whole world (because I will definitely think you are). Most days, you’d never guess I went through something so scary. I’m too busy being a happy puppy, learning new things, and spreading joy wherever I go.
I may look a little different, but my heart works perfectly. I’m brave, resilient, and ready to trust again. I’m looking for a family who sees past my scars and notices my wagging tail, my curious eyes, and my endless capacity to love.
