Ace is neutered and READY TO GO HOME!!He has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. Once a little unsure and shy, he's been building confidence every day. With time, kindness, and consistent care, he's gone from cautious to curious - and now he's all about the pets, the playtime, and the zoomies.He greets humans with a happy tail and excited energy. He's learning that the world isn't so scary after all, and it's been amazing to see his true personality. He does need to be crated when left alone at home - he prefers you stay home though, he misses you when you are gone.In playgroup, Ace did well with a friendly female, even though her energy may have been a bit much for him. He handled it like a champ, and we're planning to pair him with a calmer playmate to better match his style and see more of who he really is with other dogs.A quick note about his eye:Ace has a condition called cherry eye, which is a prolapsed tear gland in the third eyelid. It might look a little unusual, but it's actually common and manageable. Some dogs live with it comfortably using eye drops, while others may benefit from a simple surgery if needed.
