During his time at the shelter, Ralphie has been a delight, handling new experiences and redirection with calm confidence and charm. He’s hoping for a loving home where he can enjoy plenty of toys, attention, and a family to share both adventures and cozy, scratch-filled cuddle sessions.Handsome, gentle Ralphie is only 1 year old and weighs 64 lbs. He is a playful toy enthusiast, loving to run around the yard, gather toys, and turn every moment into a fun game for himself and anyone joining in. When he gets a little excited, he is easy to redirect and disengage, and calmly returns to his toys.Raplphie appears to be housetrained at the shelter! He is a smart, treat-motivated pup who already knows “sit” and picks up new tricks quickly, especially when there’s a toy or snack involved. Ralphie does well on leash, curious and enthusiastic as he sniffs and explores with a bit of youthful pep while staying attentive and responsive.Ralphie is a total lovebug once he’s comfortable, adoring pets—especially back and butt scratches—and happily leaning in for more. He balances his playful energy with gentle, affectionate moments, making him a cuddly, loyal companion. Ralphie seems to be an old soul in a puppy body.
