Meet bean
Bean is a loving and loyal 5 year old mix of pit bull terrier, chihuahua, and cocker spaniel. He is 40 lbs and very active. He knows sit, lay down, high five, go to your place, and stay. He loves running to fetch a ball and return it. He loves to snuggle. He eagerly sleeps in his crate at night and during the day for naps. We got him from a shelter at the age of 7 months. He was trained by a well known trainer in orange county and does best with a buzz collar +/- a leash. He is great at the doggy day care with all people and dogs, so long as we are not around! However in the past year he has become increasingly territorial with our neighbors and more protective of us. He barks more often at anyone coming near our property or any stranger or dog that approaches him on our walks together. He even recently bit our neighbor. We dont feel he would be good with kids or other dogs or in an unstructured environment. He definitely responds well to a disciplinarian as a parent.
