Meet spanky
Soanky was found in a hot garage in San Antonio. Left there with his sister, Wilma, a mama dog and eight puppies, they were left with no food and no water for over a week. The three adult dogs ate a leather sofa, trying to stay alive.
Fortunately, we found them. Unfortunately, he has been waiting over three years for someone to see what a sweet boy he is and bring him home.
Spanky is dog friendly, however, he would be better with a medium or large size dog for a friend, as he sometimes forgets he is a larger dog.
Spanky does not have a strong prey drive, however, he does not seem to comprehend how large he is and would do better not around smaller animals.
Spanky is people friendly and kid friendly, he is middle of the road energy wise (half athlete, half couch potato), he is very outgoing, and incredibly sweet.
Will you bring him home?
