Mookie is a 3-year-old, 37 lb pocket pittie with the goofiest charm and the wiggliest butt you’ll ever meet. She was pulled from the shelter in the nick of time on Giving Tuesday — a day dedicated to compassion, which couldn’t be more fitting for the life she was given and the love she now gives back.
Found as a stray, she had no one looking for her… until her foster mom saw her face on the shelter’s euthanasia list and couldn’t look away. With 405AR's support and willingness to pull her, Mookie’s whole world changed. She’s been shining ever since.
PersonalityMookie is pure comedy and sweetness wrapped into one tiny cow-spotted pittie body. She has a “party eye” that wanders just enough to add to her irresistible, goofy charm. She is incredibly affectionate, always wanting love, attention, and cuddles. And when she’s happy? She wiggles from nose to tail — often bouncing around on her spring-loaded back legs like she has little pogo sticks installed.
She can be shy with strangers at first and needs someone patient and willing to let her warm up at her own pace. But once you win her over with treats and a game of fetch, you have her for life. When she trusts you, she bonds deeply and loves with her whole heart.
