Meet skittles
We've had Skittles since he was 6 months old. Fun, cuddly, Shadow. He likes cuddles, being close, tennis balls, food.
He's potty, Kennel, and muzzle trained. Light pull, but leash trained. Backyard enjoyed, but not required. Most nights, he will cuddle while we watch tv.
Treat motivated and trainable, but no time or funds to professionally train.
Why re-home? He barks protectively when my mom or husband comes in the bedroom in the morning. He does not like my elderly mom much, bumps her and growls at her entry, the primary issues for rehoming. We have tried behavioral training at home, following some self-training instructions. My kid pets him, leans on him, he softly growls to warn, but is tolerant of toddlers.
He doesn't get along with all dogs, but has had dog friends. He mostly ignores cats.
He's overly protective of me and I think he'd do well if I'm out of the picture. I'd love to find home for him. We muzzle him just in case, he deserves better.
