Meet bonnie
I adopted Bonnie from the Humane Society November 2023. She was born in October 2020. Bonnie is a beautiful, loving lap dog but needs a more active family. I am a 71 y/o woman with arthritis & 2 knee replacements. At the time I adopted Bonnie I had 2 other elderly dogs at home. She got along very well with them. They have both since passed away. The last, Kansas, passed away July 2025. Since then Bonnie has become more fearful of other dogs when we go on walks.
She is very full of energy and loves to play with her squeaky plush toys at home. When you say “WALK”, she does a bouncy happy dance. I switched her to a prong collar to give me more control and we can walk safely. She does still walk faster than I am able. I have a fenced in back yard and she has a doggy door so she can go out anytime. She is fine at home alone for a couple of hours but if I will be gone for longer she goes to her crate easily.
