Meet Griff — a gentle, lap-loving little shadow who just wants someone to call his own. When Griff’s elderly owner passed away unexpectedly, his whole world shifted overnight. One moment he was loved and adored; the next, he was facing uncertainty with no one familiar to turn to. Thanks to a compassionate Good Samaritan, Griff never saw the inside of a shelter. Instead, he was brought into a foster home where he’s been slowly unwinding, taking deep breaths, and learning that he’s still safe. Griff is 6 years old, neutered, microchipped, fully vetted, and heartworm negative. He even recently met a cat and didn’t react at all—such a good little gentleman.  At heart, Griff is a loyal shadow dog. He adores routines, finds comfort in his crate, and loves nothing more than curling up in your lap or settling beside you where he can feel your warmth. He’s sensitive, steady, and thrives in a calm, predictable environment where he can truly relax. Griff is hoping for a quiet, peaceful home—one without children and ideally with another gentle, small dog who won’t overwhelm him. His Chihuahua quirks only add to his charm, and once he trusts you, he loves you with his whole heart.  This sweet boy is ready to bond deeply, settle in fully, and finally feel safe again.
