Meet tobio

Do you have a high energy pup that needs a friend to play with? Or were you a dog in a past life and love to play a good game of tug of war? Then Tobio is your guy! This sweet babe has fun puppy energy that will fill your home with laughter. Whether he's slipping on his own water spill after inhaling water or he's bunny hopping trying to engage in play, Tobio will have you laughing at his silly antics. When Tobio came into the shelter, he was a whale-eyed, terrified mess! He had to be carried into his foster mom's car and made his way to the floormats where he felt safer. However, as soon as he heard his foster siblings barking, he perked up and wanted to play. He loves to wrestle and chase his foster siblings and although he can be a little rough, he's never aggressive. In fact, he can be quite a baby when his foster chihuahua sibling yells at him.Tobio seems professionally trained when he's outside. He walks so well on a loose leash and sits when a car or other dogs pass by. When his foster mom took him to a training class, he quickly learned sit, down, touch, and kiss so he's wicked smart which is why his foster mom keeps lots of frozen engagement toys on deck to keep this smart boy occupied when crated. He is playful with dogs, has not met cats yet, and due to his puppy mouthiness and energy, Id highly recommend a home with no children. He is crate trained and seems mostly potty trained as long as his potty schedule is consistent. When visitors come over, he sleeps peacefully in his crate and sleeps in his crate from 8:30pm-7:00am.Tips for success: If you already have pets at home, please do slow introductions. This looks like walking dogs together outside so they can meet on neutral territory, letting them sniff each other through a gate for a few days until they acclimate, and supervising during the first week or two to ensure safe interactions while the pets adjust to each other's behavior. Remember the 3-3-3 rule: 3 days to adjust, 3 weeks for a pet to learn a routine, 3 months for a pet to feel at home. Please have lots of patience stored up as there is likely to be an adjustment period with any new pet. Potty trained dogs may still have accidents in the beginning. Well-behaved dogs can still tear things up when they're anxious in a new environment. With some patience, research, prep, and training, you can guarantee yourself a loyal, loving companion! Thank you for saving a life Primary Color: Black Weight: 40 Age: 0yrs 10mths 0wks
