Rescued from Mississippi after being hit by a car and left in his owner's yard for weeks without medical intervention - rescue advocated to secure his surrender so he could finally receive the care he deserved
Underwent bilateral FHO surgery (Femoral Head Ostectomy) on both hips to give him a pain-free, comfortable future and is recovering well - just the best boy!

So incredibly friendly and bonds immediately with people of all ages and sizes
Sweet, resilient boy who has blossomed in foster care and is learning to feel safe in a home again
Very affectionate and snuggly - will paw at you or whine to let you know he wants scratches and attention
Loves frozen kongs with peanut butter and chewing ice cubes
Walks beautifully on leash without pulling
Very food motivated and a great eater
Medium energy level - calm and easy going inside while enjoying multiple walks and backyard playtime throughout the day
Housebroken! Sits by the door to let you know when he needs to go out
Working on crate training and has improved a lot, but still building confidence when left alone for longer periods
Dog friendly and has played nicely with other dogs
Cat friendly! Has learned boundaries and can peacefully coexist with cats
