Lemon Drop is a 10-week-old, 10 pound (as of 12/27) Dachshund/Terrier mix with the sweetest personality to match his adorable stubby legs and long little body. He is playful, energetic, and endlessly silly, bringing smiles wherever he goes. Lemon Drop loves romping around an enclosed backyard, playing with toys, and happily bouncing around with other dogs and even cats. When playtime winds down, he’s just as content curling up for cuddles and soaking up all the love he can get.

This social, affectionate pup does wonderfully with kids, adults, and seniors alike, and he’s gentle, friendly, and eager to please. Lemon Drop is already puppy pad trained, doing well with house training, and travels nicely in the car. While he’s still too young for leash walking and formal commands, he’s just starting to learn and is ready to grow into a fantastic companion with continued guidance. He rarely barks, doesn’t show any unwanted behaviors, and hasn’t shown dislikes or guarding tendencies—he’s simply a happy, loving puppy.

Lemon Drop’s mom, Legacy—a 25 lb Dachshund mix—is also available for adoption, making this extra special for anyone looking to add a loving rescue pup (or two!) to their family. Lemon Drop is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of snuggles into his forever home.
