Meet oatie

Meet Oatie! šŸ¾ā˜€ļøOur happy-go-lucky 3-year-old speed racer with a heart full of sunshine!Oatie got his name after we found him curled up in a pile of hay in the middle of a field. It was clear he’d been dumped, but you’d never guess that from his joyful spirit. This little guy greets every day like it’s the best day ever—full of zoomies, wiggles, and pure happiness.Oatie recently had knee surgery and is currently recovering. Anyone looking to adopt him will need to provide a small, quiet space where he can rest away from other animals and people for a safe, speedy recovery. He must also remain on leash at all times to help him stay calm and protect his healing knee.He does great with other dogs who can match his playful, fast-paced style, and he’d love a home with kids 12+ who can run, play, and keep up with him once he’s fully recovered. If you’re looking for a fun, upbeat companion who brings joy everywhere he goes, Oatie might be your perfect match! šŸ’›Oatie's adoption fee is $150, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
