Please note: Lucky is in a foster home and not physically at the shelter. Meet Lucky!Lucky is a 7-year-old, 75-pound Husky/Lab mix with a heart as warm as his big smile. Originally adopted from us two years ago, this sweet boy was recently surrendered when his owner could no longer provide for him. Now he’s looking for a loving family to give him the stable, happy life he deserves.Lucky is crate trained, housetrained, and very well-mannered. He knows several commands, including come, sit, lay down, paw, and trade/drop—especially helpful since he’s very food-motivated! Despite being a medium-energy dog, he has a calm, gentle presence and enjoys a nice balance of quiet time, toys, and leisurely walks.He’s also wonderfully social and friendly—great with dogs, cats, and children—making him an easy fit for many types of households.Lucky is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows you to welcome him into your home while we complete his full veterinary care, including updated vaccinations and a dental.
