He was found as a stray on Thanksgiving Day alongside his brother, Turkey (who is also looking for a home!), and since that day, he has been nothing but grateful for every snuggle and kind word.
​Mashed Potatoes is a gentle, mature soul who is the definition of a "people dog." Currently thriving in his foster home, he has spent the last week and a half blossoming into a loyal companion. He is a professional lap-warmer who loves to be your tiny brown shadow, following you from room to room just to stay close. While he’s a calm gentleman at heart, he’s also starting to show his playful side. His foster mom has loved watching him find his confidence, as he’s recently started trying to jump in and play with the other dogs in the house.
​He is the perfect balance of a snuggly sidekick and a social pup. After a rocky start to life, Mashed Potatoes is ready to find a forever home where he can truly settle in and be the center of someone's world. He didn't have a place to call home on the holiday he was named after, but we’re making sure he has a warm bed and a loving family for every holiday to come.
