😂 Courage: Part Doberman, Part Hound, and 100% Goofball in Training!

Meet Courage, the dog who is secretly starring in his own low-stakes superhero origin story: "The Quest for Confidence!" This gorgeous Doberman/Hound Mix was born on June 8, 2020, and has been perfecting his puppy-dog eyes since he arrived on June 16, 2024.

At a lean 45 lbs, this handsome, neutered fella is fully vetted (vaccines, heartworm, flea meds—check!), and comes with a lifetime-monitored microchip, so you'll never lose this precious cargo.

💖 The Heart of the Matter

Courage might be named for bravery, but right now, his specialty is being a big, mushy love monster. He absolutely adores people, including kids! If you have a lap, he thinks he has dibs on it (despite his size).

His only special request? He needs a family that sees the potential superstar behind the slightly nervous facade. He's looking for his cheerleading squad—a crew that will patiently help him build his confidence. Think of it as a fun, low-pressure reality show where the prize is unlimited cuddles and a dog who believes he can conquer the world (or at least, the squeaky toy).

🏠 His Dream Home Requirements

Courage is ready to pack his bags, but he has a few must-haves for his new residence:

• A Secure Stadium: A fenced yard is required! This is where he practices his zoomies and gets his daily dose of sunshine safety—no escape artists here!

• The Crate-Cation: He's crate trained and housebroken which means he understands the concept of "me time" and respecting boundaries.

• A Confidence Coach: He needs a family who is all in on positive reinforcement. He's smart, loving, and just needs you to remind him daily that he's the best boy in the entire universe.

Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
