Meet Sky, the sweetest Aussie mix who truly embodies what it means to be a rescue dog. 

Sky was a stray for the first few years of her life. She survived off very little; the roof over her head was literally the sky. She had multiple litters in the woods, and most of the puppies didn’t survive. 

Her world completely changed when a foster learned about her situation and took in her and her single surviving puppy. Sky is approximately 3 years old now and looking for a forever home that will give her all the love she missed out on for the first part of her life. 

Sky is a gem! She is truly amazing around all other dogs, and we’d prefer for her to have another dog in her forever home. She also loves children and cats. She can be a little shy around new people but will warm up quickly. She’s just a very calm, gentle dog.  

Sky enjoys going for walks and is great on a leash. She is completely neutral to everything out in the world. She does have some impressive fence jumping skills, so a yard with a privacy fence would be preferable. But Sky isn’t a flight risk, so she won’t go far if she were to hop a fence. 

Sky is truly a wonderful dog who would be forever grateful to the family that gives her a forever home.

Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
