Atlas recently finished his heartworm treatment and is now officially ready to find his forever family. You’d never know he’s a three-legged dog—he keeps up easily, loves to play, and doesn’t let anything slow him down. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, including kids, and does great with other dogs. He doesn’t have to have another dog in his forever home, but we feel he would be happier having a canine friend! Atlas is fully potty trained and crate trained, though he’s also trustworthy loose in the house. No chewing, no trouble—just a genuinely easy, good boy. Atlas is 3 1/2 years old and we are guessing he is a Lab mix. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org.

*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck

*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee 

Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee 

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
