Pippin is a 1-year-old, 44-pound dog with a playful spirit and a curious nose. Give him a little time to explore a new room, and before long he is ready to chase treats, play with his person, and show off what he knows. Pippin has already learned sit, shake, and down, and enrichment activities such as lick mats help keep his busy young mind engaged.Pippin previously lived briefly with large and small dogs and reportedly did well with them. He wanted to play with the cats, although they did not share his enthusiasm, and he was comfortable around a child. Kennel life has left him restless, but during one-on-one time he becomes playful, attentive, and eager to participate. Pippin is ready for a family that will give him exercise, guidance, and the lasting home he deserves.All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
