Meet rusty
Rusty is a 6-week-old mixed-breed puppy who has never let his early challenges slow him down. Orphaned at just one day old, he was bottle-fed and raised in rescue, growing into a confident, social, and affectionate little guy. He weighs about 5 pounds now and is expected to become a medium-to-large adult.
Rusty brings the fun wherever he goes. He’s playful, silly, and loves engaging with toys, people, and his surroundings. He enjoys active play but also happily settles in for attention and snuggles once he’s worn himself out. Being hand-raised has made him very comfortable with people, and he thrives on interaction and enrichment.
Rusty is still very much a puppy and will need continued guidance as he grows. He is starting age-appropriate crate exposure and potty routines, and his adopter should be ready for ongoing training, structure, and socialization. He would do best in a home that enjoys an active, engaging puppy and is prepared for the commitment of a medium-to-large dog.
