Meet Olivia — an 8-pound Chihuahua mystery wrapped in a tiny burrito of feelings. 🌯✨

At just 1 year old, this pint-sized lady has already lived a whole saga. She was found as a stray here in Massachusetts, and whatever her past was… whew. It left her a little shaken, a lot cautious, and currently running on “Trust Issues: Deluxe Edition.”

But here’s the thing: underneath that brave little exterior is a sweetheart desperate to let someone in. She wants to bond. She wants to love. She just needs someone patient enough to let her unfold like a shy flower with very sharp petals. 🌸😬

Right now, Olivia is staying in a lively foster home—kids zooming, visitors popping in, dogs everywhere, cats supervising from high shelves. She does fine, but it’s definitely sensory overload for a delicate soul who’d prefer a quiet home where the loudest thing is maybe… a soft sneeze.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
