Meet monica
Monica is a very sweet but anxious girl. She is medicated for her anxiety. She loves people and cuddling but has boundary problems in the amount of attention that she needs.
Monica struggles with other dogs. While not outright aggressive she needs to feel dominant and will do her best to dominate other dogs in the household.
I adopted Monica in 2022. She was previously owned by an unhoused man for the first six months of her life.
I've recently moved in with my girlfriend who has a small dog who Monica consistently seeks to dominate. I have spent literally thousands of dollars on training but cannot afford to spend any more. As a result she spends a fair portion of her time in her room (a second bedroom) alone.
I want nothing more than a good life for her and feel that I cannot currently provide it. Its my goal to get her to a home with an experienced owner who can handle a dog of her needs.
