Meet Ace Ventura, a high-spirited and incredibly affectionate companion who is ready to be your new best friend! This handsome fellow is an absolute pro at potty training—he’ll even head straight to the door to let you know when it’s time for a stroll. Ace is a world-class cuddler who loves nothing more than being right by your side (or directly on your lap!), and he’s motivated by a deep love for treats, especially anything involving peanut butter. While he is a big, strong boy with plenty of athletic energy, he has a heart of gold and does well with other large dogs when given a proper introduction. He is also a star in his crate during the workday, settling in nicely after a few minutes of "me time."
Ace is looking for an active, experienced owner who speaks his language and enjoys the rewarding process of training. Because he is so smart and enthusiastic, he thrives on mental enrichment like Kongs, puzzle games, and vigorous rounds of tug or fetch. He is currently working on his "calm-down" skills and leash manners, so he’ll do best in an adult-focused home where his family can continue helping him learn to regulate his excitement. If you have a soft spot for a loyal, velcro-dog who will keep you entertained and showered in love, Ace Ventura is your guy!
