Nelson is looking for a patient home that can support him as he continues to build trust and feel more secure in new situations.Despite his worries, Nelson warms up quickly to new people and settles once he feels safe. His favorite place is right beside his person, quietly soaking in comfort and reassurance. In doggie playgroups, Nelson has shown that he can be social and happy with the right canine companions. He has done well with female dogs, calmly trotting alongside them and engaging appropriately. During a recent session with a male dog, Nelson became overly focused and escalated his behavior, so we recommend a dog-selective home with no male dogs.
