Amy’s story could have ended very differently — this brave little girl was found dodging cars and trucks in the middle of a busy highway until a kind person stopped to save her. Now safe in a loving foster home, Amy is ready to find the forever family she deserves!

At about six months old, Amy is a classic Cattle Dog — intelligent, eager to please, and full of puppy energy. She’s doing wonderfully in her foster home, where she’s already crate trained and house trained. Amy gets along great with other dogs and loves to play and learn new things.

She’s very affectionate and people-friendly — the kind of pup who wants to be right by your side for every adventure. Amy would thrive with a family who will include her in their daily activities and give her the love, attention, and mental stimulation her smart little brain craves.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.

We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21
