Meet precious
This gentle senior has a heart as big as her smile. She adores people and lives for affection, whether that’s curling up beside you for a nap or wiggling her way into your lap for pets and kisses! Her story is one of strength and second chances. A few years ago, she was adopted from a high-kill shelter in Texas, only to later be returned in heartbreaking condition: malnourished, battling severe mange, and with a mass on her paw. The mass was determined to likely be cancerous, and to give her the best chance at life, she bravely underwent a leg amputation. Now cancer-free, she has adapted wonderfully to having one less leg. Don’t let her age or tripawd status fool you; she’s spunky, playful, and full of energy, always ready for a walk, a wiggle, or a game of tug-of-war. She is also just as happy being a couch potato at home or snuggling up for a nap! Through it all, she has remained nothing but sweet, loving, and full of gratitude. She is ready to finally find a loving, forever home!
