She has a way of looking at you with those pleading eyes that's impossible to resist. Jewel is a typical medium-energy puppy who loves to play hard with her foster siblings, then sack out for a good nap. She's looking for a home ready for all things puppy and excited to shower her with love and continue her training.Jewel gets along well with other dogs and adjusts her play style accordingly, so she'd likely do fine with or without a canine sibling in the home. She has done well with dogs of all sizes and takes cues well from her playmates. Her gentle, playful nature suggests she may do well with a dog-savvy cat, though she hasn't been tested with felines yet. Jewel visited a local kids' program and interacted well with children in grades K-5. She would do best with dog-savvy children who can give her space and time to get to know them.Jewel is a smart girl who has already mastered "Kennel up" and is almost perfect with "Sit"! She is fully crate trained and settles in her crate during the day and overnight without any issues. As a typical pup, Jewel is working on mastering potty training and will continue to improve with a regular schedule and routine. She is learning her leash manners and improving quickly with practice. Jewel would benefit from structure and boundaries as she adjusts to her new environment, especially around high-value treats as she learns to share.This heart-stealer plays hard and snuggles just as hard!
