Phoenix is a tiny black dog who has endured more than any pup should. She was found on the streets of Brownsville, nearly hairless from mange and secondary skin infections, but her spirit remains strong.
She’s currently healing and receiving ongoing veterinary care. Phoenix is not yet ready for adoption, but she can go into a foster-to-adopt home where she can continue recovering in comfort and love.
Despite everything she’s been through, Phoenix is gentle, trusting, and full of heart. With the right family, she’ll blossom into a beautiful, healthy miniature Labrador
