Meet posey
Posey came up from Mexico to Oregon in March 2025. I adopted her knowing she would need a lot of training and work to fully acclimate to her new life, and she did beautifully. After a first couple shy, nervous days she settled into what would be her new home. She is naturally a nervous girl, and my job was to make her feel safe in her home. After never having a human, or home before she naturally developed separation anxiety. It is something that we have worked hard at, and she has shown tremendous improvement, but it is that particular training I have struggled with. With my work being in office and frequent travel schedule, I fear that my home is not suited for her. Ideally she would work best with someone that is home often, works from home, or is retired, and has a confident dog.
Posey is truly the sweetest, gentlest soul. She has a lot of love to give and is still figuring out how to show it. Once she is used to you, she will gladly come up for pets, and loves to cuddle.
