Hiya Friends! My name is Axel and I'm a handsome 1yr old male German Shepherd mix. I'm located in Memphis TN and will be available for transport.
Quick Facts:
Age - 1yrs old
Kids - will do fine with older kids (10+)
Dogs - good with other dogs, both male & female
Cats - NO cats
Training - needs obedience training
1. I wandered up to someone's house hoping they would help me. I was lost or dumped, looking for safety. Thankfully some nice people helped me & brought me to the best rescue in the world!
2. I have the most unique eyes! One of my eyes is half blue & half brown, they are just one aspect of why I'm so special. I have a handsome shiny coat and medium size body.
3. I have some amazing qualities: I'm house & crate trained, happy-go-lucky, great with other puppers, and I'm super friendly! I walk well on a leash, I'm fairly independent, enjoy chewing on bones, and exploring in the yard.
4. I would make an excellent hiking, running, or active companion. I have LOTS of energy and would do best in an active home. If you have big health goals for 2026, let me be your hype dog!
5. My foster mom has started teaching me some obedience commands & it's going well. Will you paw-promise to continue my training? It will help us bond & prove to everyone you have the best pup around!
6. If you are looking for a handsome, resilient, friendly, obedient, smart, energetic, and loyal new best friend - I'm your guy!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
