Meet Ritz – Your Loyal, One-and-Only Companion

 

Ritz is a 7-year-old Akita mix who’s had a bit of a rollercoaster lately. Recently returned to us through no fault of his own, he’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish him forever.

 

This big-hearted boy has so much love to give and wants nothing more than to play fetch with his people. He thrives on attention, enjoys walks, and is always up for a good fetch session. Ritz prefers a calm environment where he can be the center of your world—he’s not a fan of sharing the spotlight, so he should be the only pet in the household. 

 

Ritz is past the puppy stage but still full of life. He’s a smart, energetic boy with a lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who will love you unconditionally, Ritz is ready to fill that role in the most heartwarming way.

The adoption fee is $300 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. 

We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. 

Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! 

If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  

***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
