Meet scout
I am looking for a safe and loving family for my dog Scout. We adopted him from a rescue service, somewhere in NC, and they said if we ever needed to give him up that they would take him back. But my wife passed away in March and I can't find any information about where she got him. I travel often and without my wife to take care of him I'm constantly looking for sitters in Brookline and the Cape. They're wonderful but it really isn't fair to Scout. He's 11 and a real homebody!
Scout would do best in a quiet home or with an older couple. He is extremely well trained especially when he's out for a walk. He like's to sleep a good part of the day, almost never barks, has never bit anyone or got aggressive with another dog, and always asks permission before jumping up onto any furniture (but he's just as happy lying in his bed.)
He has some eye problems which require drops once a day. He also has allergies and so he takes a pill in the morning. But he's well worth the extra 5 mins a day!
