Meet nova
Sweet Nova has had a tough start in life, but she’s full of love and resilience. This brave girl came to us with an old injury to her right front leg — we’re not sure what happened, though it’s possible she was struck by a vehicle. She walks a little wonky, and her leg may get sore from time to time, but it sure doesn’t slow her down!
At this time, amputation isn’t needed, though as Nova grows, her new family should be prepared for the possibility that it might be in the future. She may also need occasional pain management to keep her comfortable — but through it all, she remains happy, playful, and full of life.
Nova adores other dogs and is quickly learning to respect cats. She’s working hard on her potty training and, being the smart girl she is, we know she’ll master it soon!
