Meet roxy
Roxy’s story hasn’t been an easy one. This beautiful, middle-aged Pitbull mix spent too long fending for herself, trying to get by without the love and care every dog deserves. While she was technically "owned", the owners didn't care for her, letting her get pregnant, and roam the streets. But even after all she’s been through, Roxy is still the sweetest girl.
Now that she is finally surrendered to us, she knows what kindness feels like, Roxy is soaking it all in — and giving it right back. She’s an affectionate, people-loving cuddlebug who will melt into your arms the moment you sit down. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, resting her head on your lap, or greeting you with a happy tail wag, Roxy’s favorite thing in the world is simply being loved. Roxy’s old enough to appreciate a good nap but still young enough for playtime and leisurely walks.
After everything she’s endured, Roxy is ready for her next chapter — one filled with belly rubs, soft blankets, and a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, Roxy is your girl.
Roxy would do best living as the only pet, but she loves to go for walks with other dogs and have gentle play outside of the home. Along with her terrible past, she is bringing along heartworm and valley fever both of which are being treated by the rescue.
