Hi! I’m Billy Boy, and if you’re looking for a dog who lives life with his whole heart, you’ve found him.
I spent more than 100 days in a Southern California shelter, becoming one of its longest residents. During that time, I made the best of it. I joined playgroups, made dog friends, charmed volunteers, and never stopped hoping my family would come.
One day, I thought they finally had.
But after just 24 hours, I was returned because I was just… excited.
Can you blame me? I had waited so long for someone to choose me that I couldn’t contain my happiness.
Thankfully, Angel Dog Alliance saw past that one day and gave me the second chance I deserved.
I’m a social, happy boy who loves people, enjoys other dogs, and is always up for an adventure. Whether we’re heading out for a walk, exploring a new trail, or just hanging out together, I’m happiest when I’m with my people.
I’m also super treat motivated. Ask me to sit, and I’ll do it with my biggest smile while taking treats as gently as can be. No grabbing, no chomping, just good manners and a hopeful face waiting for the next snack.
My unique looks turn heads everywhere I go, but it’s my personality that wins hearts. I’m goofy, affectionate, loyal, and ready to fill your home with laughter.
All I’m asking for is someone who understands that excitement isn’t a flaw. It’s what happens when a dog who has waited a long time finally gets a chance to be loved.
