HOW TO ADOPT: This pet is available for adoption at a community event. Please check our Events Calendar for more information. - Sweet boy who knows sit, shake and stay- Prefers to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once he's in a home environment and has had time to decompress - Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended) - Arrived at the ARL with heartworms and has undergone a full course of treatment here; will receive a free a recheck at the ARL in December 2025 (more info at ARL) - May have allergies (more info at ARL) - Needs a home without cats or small animalsThis pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
