Meet iris
Under a year old, Iris is a mix of brave and bashful. In a playgroup with a bunch of silly pups, she seemed more comfortable when the attention was shared - the more dogs, the better. She preferred group play over one-on-one interactions and was at her happiest chasing others around. If things got a little too up-close-and-personal, she'd let out a squawk to say, "Hey, personal space!"While still settling in, Iris showed a lot of potential. She's observant, sensitive, and clearly working out how to navigate new social settings. That's not unusual for young German Shepherds - the breed tends to be smart, loyal, and a bit reserved with new people or situations at first. With time, structure, and patient guidance, they usually blossom into confident and deeply devoted companions.Iris is adorable and already showing signs of that classic Shepherd intelligence.
