Update for August 2025July 2nd the Sharon Police Department dropped off a stray dog that was in need of vet care. The vet found that she is suffering from severe allergies associated with mange that has been left untreated. This is something you treat from the inside with oral medication, and outside with bathing. She started out at 42lbs and is now up to 65lbs! We are so happy with her progress, but know she still has a long journey ahead of her. This is something that could have been dealt with early on and wouldn’t have gotten to this extreme. Sable is on a special food *From the post we had people reach out that had seen this dog before. Thank you for that help! This is now in the hands of law enforcement. Sable has made GREAT strides and is improving daily. She’s on a special food that will need to be purchased for her, loves all the dogs and people she can meet.
