Meet duchess
We have been fostering her for a year after her original owner lost her home after a difficult separation, but we will not be able to take care of her for much longer, as we are expecting twins soon! So, we are urgently in need of a loving family to foster or adopt her.
Duchess is beautiful, kind, and smart. She has lived comfortably with young children, dogs, and cats. She enjoys and a good game of fetch with tennis balls, but she is just as content relaxing indoors on her own.
She is very healthy, low-maintenance, and well-trained (she is kennel-trained and responds to many commands). While she is an active dog, she doesn't require much to stay happy and engaged. Most of the day, she's calm and independent inside the home.
She can be protective of her people and may feel anxious in the car, so she'll do best with someone who can offer patience and reassurance. Her leash skills are still developing, but she's eager to learn and bonds deeply with those she trusts.
