Hello friends! My name is Maple. Maple leaves are thought to be symbols of love and loyalty, so my name describes me perfectly! At about 10 years old, you donât have to worry about puppy antics or chaos. Iâd love a nice peaceful home where I can lounge about when I feel like it. But I will also be your walking partner or play outside with you!
I weigh about 40 pounds so I am a nice medium sized lab/beagle mix. Prior to joining The Rescue Inn, I lived with a small breed dog my age. I am now constantly around other dogs. Since I am no longer a puppy, I prefer calm canine companions who wonât jump all over me.
My âpreviousâ life wasnât the best because I didnât get the vet care I deserved. I was flea infested and anemic, and I had lots of worms! But that was then, and this is now. I am a healthy girl now, fixed and up to date on shots. I hope you'll consider a senior family member!
