Rescued from Chicago Animal Care & Control. Current owner unable to continue care due to health and work demands.
Behavior & Training:
Crate trained and fully potty trained
Knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, crate, paw)
Good on leash and loves car rides
Can be reactive in overstimulating environments (especially daycare)
Best suited for an experienced, calm home without small children
May do well with one other dog of similar size (no cats)
Health:
Allergic to most proteins except fish (salmon-based diet)
Seasonal allergies; previously received allergy shots in spring/summer
Up to date on vaccines and vet care
On 30mg Prozac daily for anxiety
Arnie is a loyal, affectionate companion who thrives with structure and a quiet home environment.
