Meet kupa
I got Kupa about 3 months ago from the Richmond SPCA. She is around 2 Years old, not much is known about her background before arriving at the shelter.
She was very sick and emaciated when I got her, as she gained her health back her dog/critter reactivity showed itself. She is great with adults and loves people! I am not sure about children.
She needs a yard and ideally a less chaotic part of town. I do not have the resources to effectively train her reactivity and leash walks are difficult if triggers show up.
Inside the home, she is super sweet, smart, attentive, and just wants to snuggle you. She waits to eat, has good recall, and knows lots of commands including sit, come, touch, wait, and (sometimes!) down. She is crate trained and willingly goes into it. I have left her for up to 5 hours.
I love her. This decision is tough, but I feel that she will have a better life in a different home.
